Die Mensch-Maschine wins Fantasy Spring Classics!
|
The 2012 edition of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege saw Maxim Iglinskiy take victory ahead of Vincenzo Nibali, whose late bid for victory faltered on the final uphill stretch to the finish line.
The final race of the Fantasy Classics Spring Series is now complete, with Die Mensch-Maschine, managed by Jussi fron Finland, taking the overall series win. Conratulations to our winner, and see you all on the road for the stage race season that is about to start in earnest! |
Game Features
Select Your RidersManage a squad of 12 riders to compete in the greatest one-day races of the early season. You'll need to make sure you have a competitive squad all the way through from Milan, to Flanders, to Northern France and the Ardennes. |
Set Up a Mini LeagueThe popular Mini League system returns this season. Create a Mini League for your friends and colleagues to compete in this event and future events throughout the season. |
Score PointsThe detailed scoring system awards points for finishing positions and also assists for helping a winning team performance. And a big part of the Fantasy Classics system are the breakaway points. With four Breakaway Points Zones for each race, you can follow the progress of your riders on the road as the battle through the decisive locations of each race. |
Make TransfersThe Spring Classics calendar is extended over six weeks, with races to suit all classes of rider. You will therefore receive a quota of 24 rider transfers to use throughout the series. Make sure to conserve enough transfers to field a competitive team for the final week of the series that includes three key races across the sharp climbs of the Ardennes! |
Two Race CategoriesFive races are designated as Category One events, being the monuments of the early cycling year. These races are Milano-Sanremo,, De Ronde van Vlaanderen, Paris-Roubaix, Amstel Gold and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. The remaining six races on the series are designated Category Two events, being Dwars door Vlaanderen, E3 Prijs, Gent-Wevelgem, the Scheldeprijs, De Brabantse Pijl and La Fleche Wallonne. Make sure to use your transfers to target the key events, but don't forget those Cat 2 races which could be the difference between defeat and triumph! |
Select a Team JerseyThe custom team jersey function was massively popular last season. Select a team logo from a mammoth choice of current pro jerseys and historic jersey designs. Or request your own club jersey to be included and show off your club's colours at the head of the leaderboard! |
