FANTASY TOUR ADD-ONS
In addition to entering a team for free in the main game, and enjoying all the usual Velogames features, consider upgrading your account to Premium Access. You can also purchase additional teams. See below for full details.
VELOGAMES PREMIUM ACCESS
At a cost of £1.50 to last for the duration of the Tour de France, Velogames Premium Access expands your enjoyment of the game by offering access to further competitions and more detailed scoring and rider information.
1. Stage Competitions
The Stage Competitions are held for all users who have subscribed to Premium Access, before the designated entry cut-off date.
Entry has now closed for the Sprint Stage and Rolling Stage Competitions. New subscribers to Velogames Premium Access will not be entered into these competitions.
Entry has now closed for the Mountain Stage Competition (deadline 1200 CET on Thursday 10th July.
The stages of the Tour de France are divided into three different terrain types: Sprint stages, Rolling stages and Mountain stages. For each terrain type, a
competition will be held.
The scoring system for each stage competition will only include stage points and stage assists. Points gained will not include daily yellow, green, polka-dot or team classification standings. For a full list of the activated scoring categories, check out the Stage Competition rules.
Prizes will be available for the winner of each competition. Winners will be determined by the total number of points gained across each of the stages contained within each Stage Competition.
- The winner of the Sprint stage competition will receive a replica Tour de France Green jersey, or subscription to a leading cycling magazine of their choice.
- The winner of the Rolling stage competition will receive a replica Tour de France White jersey, or subscription to a leading cycling magazine of their choice.
- The winner of the Mountain stage competition will receive a replica Tour de France Polka-Dot jersey, or subcription to a leading cycling magazine of their choice.
If uptake for Premium Access is large enough, the prizes will be increased to replica jersey and a leading cycling magazine.
2. Daily Detailed Stage Scoring Reports and Roster Screens
The daily detailed scoring reports screens allow you to see where your riders scored their points thoughout the Tour. EVery scoring position, from yellow jersey through to assists, will be clearly reported in a daily table.
3. Mini-League stage scoring reports
An archive of daily scores for each mini-leagues. Therefore, you will be able to view daily team standings and leaderboard history for each team in the mini-league. The free account will still have active mini-leagues, but you will only be able to see the current overall leaderboard with no stage-by-stage scoring reports.
4. Premium Access is per user account, not per team
If you take up the option of purchasing additional teams (perhaps as an insurance option, or to specifically target one of the Stage Competitions), then you will not need to upgrade this team to Premium Content. You need to only pay for Premium Content once per account, so any additional teams you purchase will also have the full Premium features described above.

Can't make up your mind as to which riders to select? Do you fancy a second chance in case everything goes wrong? Or do you wish to target one of the Stage Competitions that are activated through Velogames Premium Access?
You can purchase additional teams for your account, at the cost of £1.50 per team. Of course, the first team remains free to enter.
If you also subscribe to Velogames Premium Access, then all your teams will be entered into the Stage Competitions and enjoy the other benefits of Premium Access.
