Fantasy Tour de Suisse Information

The Fantasy Tour de Suisse allows users to fine tune their form ahead of the upcoming Fantasy Tour de France.

The race throws up several selection conundurums for the budding Velogames directeur sportif, with two time trials, a host of high Alpine passes and a duo of flat stages during the nine stage tour.

Seen by many riders as ideal preparation for the Tour de France, this year's race brings several of the sport's top riders along with a host of dark horses who will be hopeful of their shot of glory.

Top of the bill is the Leopard Trek team, who bring Andy Schleck and defending champion Frank Schleck to the startline, along with Jakob Fuglsang who performed so admirably on his way to thrid overall last year.

The Luxembourg team is joined by a high-power line-up from American squad Team Radioshack, who bring the recent Tour of California winner Chris Horner along with stage-race veterans Levi Leipheimer and Andreas Kloden.

Damiano Cunego, Philippe Gilbert and sprinter Mark Cavendish add to the international talent on display, while Swiss hero Fabian Cancellara will look to the time trials for glory on home turf.

With three summit finishes in this year's race, the climbers will be anticipating a grand battle across the high mountain passes, with home-grown rider Mathias Frank looking to defend the King of the Mountains prize he won last year.
