MAIN SEASON GREGARIO GAME - MENS CYCLING

For all races within the Velogames Stage Race Championship, men's cycling Velogames Fantasy Sixes contests and men's Fantasy Classics contests, you will be collecting "Gregarios" as the season progresses.

For every race win, stage win or general classification victory an active rider in your team obtains, you will "collect" that rider for your Gregario line-up. Note that you only collect a Gregario once - multiple victories by the same rider do not add multiple Gregarios to your total!

The team director with the most Gregarios at the end of the series will be declared the winner of the 2026 Velogames Gregario Game.

And not only will there be a leaderboard showing most Gregarios collected, I'll also be compiling a stats table showing the rarest Gregarios obtained to date, which will act as a tie-break where the overall number of Gregarios collected is tied between teams.

Please note that, in order to maintain consistency of Gregario allocation with the other stage race contests within the Stage Race Championship, Gregarios will be allocated in the Fantasy Grand Tour contests based on your "Classic" starting line-up of nine riders - Replacements selections in the Replacements Contest are not eligible for Gregario allocation.

Users will be entered into the Gregario Game - and retain their full set of Gregarios gained (and backdated) during the full 2026 season to date, as long as they become a Supporting Member on or before Monday 20th July. Later entries will be possible after Monday 20th July, but Gregarios gained during the season to-date will not be backdated after that , but Gregarios gained during the season to-date will not be backdated after that time.

MAIN SEASON MEDAL RACE CONTEST - MENS CYCLING

The Medal Race contest rewards those Velogames team directeurs who regularly see their riders cross the finish line with arms in the air!

For all races within the Velogames Stage Race Championship, men's cycling Fantasy Sixes contests and men's Fantasy Classics contests, you will be collecting virtual gold, silver and bronze medals to count towards your season-long medal tally.

A gold medal is awarded every time an active rider in your team wins a race, stage or finishes first in the final (ie, end-of-tour) general classification of a stage race.

A silver medal is awarded every time an active member in your team finishes in second place on a race, stage or finishes in second place in the final (ie, end-of-tour) general classification of a stage race.

A bronze medal is awarded every time an active member in your team finishes in third place on a race, stage or finishes in third place in the final (ie, end-of-tour) general classification of a stage race.

The team director with the most gold medals at the end of the season will be declared the winner of the Medal Race Contest.

The silver medal total of each director will be used as tie-breaks to determine ranking for directors who share the same number of gold medals.

The bronze medal total of each director will be used as tie-breaks to determine ranking for directors who share the same number of gold and silver medals.

For all races within the Velogames Fantasy Women's Classics 2026, and stage races which make up the Velogames Fantasy Women's Cycling Championship 2026, you will be collecting "Gregarias" as the season progresses.

This contest is analogous to the men's cycling Main Season Gregario Game described above.

For every race win, stage win or general classification victory an active rider in your team obtains, you will "collect" that rider for your Gregario line-up. Note that you only collect a Gregaria once - multiple victories by the same rider do not add multiple Gregarios to your total!

The team director with the most Gregarias at the end of the series will be declared the winner of the 2026 Velogames Women's Cycling Gregaria Game.

WOMEN'S CYCLING MEDAL RACE CONTEST

The Women's Cycling Medal Race works exactly like the contes detailed above, except that it covers the contests featuring women's cycling races across the Velogames website.

The contest will reward those Velogames team directeurs who regularly see their riders cross the finish line with arms in the air!

For all races within the Velogames Fantasy Women's Classics 2026, and stage races which make up the Velogames Fantasy Women's Cycling Championship 2026, you will be collecting virtual gold, silver and bronze medals to count towards your season-long medal tally.

WARM UP MEDAL RACE CONTEST - MENS CYCLING

2026 sees the return of an 11-race warm up championship, featuring the key early season stage races across January and February as riders - and Velogames directors - hone their form ahead of the bigger battles to come.

For all races within the Velogames Warm Up Championship, you will also be collecting "Medals" in a similar way to the Main Season Medal Race Contest, which will start in late February.

The Medal Race contests reward those Velogames team directeurs who regularly see their riders cross the finish line with arms in the air!

For all races within the Velogames Warm Up Championship, you will be collecting virtual gold, silver and bronze medals to count towards your contest-long medal tally.

A gold medal is awarded every time an active rider in your team wins a stage or finishes first in the final (ie, end-of-tour) general classification of a stage race.

A silver medal is awarded every time an active member in your team finishes in second place on a stage or finishes in second place in the final (ie, end-of-tour) general classification of a stage race.

A bronze medal is awarded every time an active member in your team finishes in third place on a stage or finishes in third place in the final (ie, end-of-tour) general classification of a stage race.

The team director with the most gold medals at the end of the Velogames Warm Up Championship will be declared the winner of the Warm Up Medal Race Contest.

The silver medal total of each director will be used as tie-breaks to determine ranking for directors who share the same number of gold medals.

The bronze medal total of each director will be used as tie-breaks to determine ranking for directors who share the same number of gold and silver medals.

Note that performance in the Velogames Warm Up Championship does not contibute to medals collected in the Main Season Medal Race Contest - at the start of the Main Season Medal Race Contest, all directors will start again with zero medals collected.

THE TRIPLE CROWN LEADERBOARD

The Triple Crown contest is a leaderboard for Supporting Members and measures ultimate success across the three major stage race contests of the 2026 Velogames Fantasy Cycling season.

This leaderboard will consolidate team scores across Velogames Italy 2026, VELOGAME 2026, and Velogames Spain 2026.

Users will be entered into Triple Crown Leaderboard as long as they become a Supporting Member before Saturday 22nd August 2026.
